Runway Revival (Best out of Waste- Ramp Walk)–An Intra Class Competition for Class III  (April 2024)

On 8 May 2024 students of Class III showcased their creativity in Runway Revival, an intra class competition, crafting stunning dresses out of waste paper, plastic, and other recyclable materials. Their innovative designs not only highlighted their artistic talents but also demonstrated their commitment to both creativity and environmental stewardship. Instant Eloquence (Extempore)–An Intra Class Competition for Class  V  (April 2024)

‘Instant Eloquence’ – an Intra Class extempore competition, was organized for Class V on 7 May 2024. It aimed at fostering public speaking skills and quick thinking abilities by the participants. The contestants for this Final Round had already been selected through a pre-round on 29 April. The 18 selected participants were allotted their topics through a draw of lots and were given a little time to prepare before delivering their speeches. It has been said ‘A good speech is like a pencil; it has to have a point.’ The Extempore Competition proved to be an effective platform for the young speakers to demonstrate that they too have a point of view and are able to express their thoughts in an articulate manner. Potter’s Wheel (Clay Modelling)–An Intra Class Competition for Class II (April 2024)

The  session’s first intraclass competition for Class II was held on  3 May 2024. Each student crafted a bouquet of clay flowers following the theme ‘Bouquet of Flowers’. Their creations showcased their creativity with unique styles and colour combinations. As a result, each section was transformed into a picturesque garden adorned with delightful bouquets. Lyric League ((English/ Hindi Rhyme Recitation)– An Intra-Class Competition for class Nursery ( May 2024)

Lyric league – The Intra class Poetry Recitation Competition for nursery students in May 2024 saw an enthusiastic response with the young contestants vying with each other to exhibit their confidence and recitation skills. Kids love to play and poetry is all about playing with rhyme rhythm and words. What an excellent way for the little ones to practice their verbal communication skills ! Inter House Snap, Style & Share Competition (VI-VIII)

The ‘Snap, Style & Share’ Inter-House Competition on 18 April 2024, showcased the creative talents of students from classes VI-VIII, each House presenting their take on ‘India in Motion: Everyday Heroes’. From detailed photography to heartfelt narratives, participants displayed empathy  and passion. With dynamic duos of speakers and photographers, participants captured the essence of the theme through self-clicked photographs, adhering to editing and submission guidelines. On the day of the event, speakers eloquently explained their photographs, emphasizing the relevance to the theme. Joyful Learning : XII B Debates Israel-Palestine in UN Simulation

During their political science class on 29 April 2024 , the students of Class XII B engaged in a simulation of the General Assembly, exploring the role of the United Nations, under the mentorship of their teacher. They debated and crafted resolutions on the topic of the two-state solution for Israel and Palestine, making their learning both meaningful and enjoyable.

Tagore’s Legacy in China Honoured by Online Cultural Interaction with Shanghai School

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore’s visit to China. The Shanghai People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (SPAFFC) hosted a delegation of Indian scholars and artists titled “Retracing Tagore’s Footsteps in China” on 15 April 2024.The delegation includes Tagore scholars, artists, and media journalists who visited Jinyuan High School in Shanghai. They joined the online calligraphy class with our students and the students of  Jinyuan High and were delighted to witness the cultural exchange. 

Exploring Boundaries: Triumph at ‘Everyday Science’ Contest

In the exciting world of scientific exploration, our students recently shone at the ‘Everyday Science’ Contest, brilliantly organized by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell. This unique competition, challenging participants to creatively present science concepts, showcased the students’ ability to unveil the science in their surroundings. From captivating experiments to engaging presentations, our budding scientists met the challenge head-on, seamlessly blending the spirit of ‘Everyday Science’ with a touch of Bollywood in the realm of Thermodynamics. This journey beautifully highlighted the boundless possibilities that arise at the crossroads of knowledge and imagination. two outstanding teams, featuring Tanisha and Atharv Gaur, as well as Yasir and Srikrithi, have earned their place in the highly anticipated finale set for February 2024. We wish them the best of luck on their continued journey to becoming true champions in the field of thermodynamics

S.O.C.H. team on a quest to discover the many facets of India’s art, architecture and design at IAADB organized at Red Fort

They had the privilege to meet curator Vikramjit Singh Rooprai at the Sampravah Pavillion. Under his guidance, they delved into the intricate world of Baolis, gaining profound insights into the design and  systematic principles behind these ancient structures. His  expertise shed light on the fascinating interplay between art, architecture, and science, providing a unique perspective that will undoubtedly contribute to the team’s ongoing “Education through Monuments” project.
