“Youth for Ganga, Youth for Yamuna” Project

The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, sanctioned an awareness initiative aimed at sensitizing school students towards river conservation and biodiversity. As part of this project, students of Class VIII presented a stage play designed to establish an emotional, cultural, and environmental connection with the rivers Ganga River and Yamuna River.The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between young citizens and river conservation efforts by fostering awareness, responsibility, and active stewardship among students. The program successfully instilled a sense of responsibility and environmental consciousness among students. It encouraged them to become proactive participants in preserving and protecting these vital river ecosystems, reinforcing the role of youth in sustainable development.

Be My Buddy: Building Bridges of Inclusion

The school proudly participated in the ‘Be My Buddy’ campaign at Tamana School on the occasion of Autism Awareness Day 2026. The initiative aimed to promote awareness, acceptance, and inclusion of individuals with autism. The event commenced with a welcome address, followed by engaging interactive sessions, group activities, and creative workshops.Students gained insight into the challenges faced by individuals on the autism spectrum. A pledge to foster kindness and inclusivity, along with meaningful cultural performances, made the experience enriching and impactful.

SPOOKY DESIGN THINKING FOR GRADE XII STUDENTS

The school organised an engaging workshop on Spooky Design Thinking for Grade XII students on 7 April 2026. Conducted by experts from Falmouth University and PNK Foreign Study, the session introduced students to the principles of design thinking and its role in innovation. Emphasis was placed on authentic empathy and critical reflection in problem-solving. The highlight was an interactive storytelling activity where students collaborated, created storyboards, and analysed underlying issues through guided questioning. The workshop effectively nurtured creativity, collaboration, and deeper analytical thinking.

A Day of Stories, Smiles, and Young Imaginations with Neil Humphreys

Our school had the privilege of hosting renowned children’s author Neil Humphreys for an engaging author interaction session with the students of Classes III & IV on 9 April 2026.The session was filled with energy as the author captivated the young audience through an entertaining storytelling session and shared insights into how humor and creativity shape storytelling. Students thoroughly enjoyed learning about the writing process and the inspiration behind his popular Princess Incognito series. The interactive session encouraged students to explore their imagination and develop a love for reading and writing. The highlight of the event was the book signing, where students received author-signed copies and had the opportunity to briefly interact with the author.The visit proved to be a memorable and enriching experience for the students, leaving them inspired to read more and perhaps even write their own stories. 

Interactive PBL Session – Game Design Activity

An interactive PBL session was conducted for Class IX on 6 April 2026,, where students designed original learning games using Monopoly as a reference example. Working collaboratively, groups developed rule-based games integrating ideas from Science, Social Science and Mathematics to support concept building through engaging participation. Each group presented its game, explaining the educational objective and gameplay process. Learners described how their designs supported targeted outcomes and encouraged logical thinking. The session promoted teamwork, imagination, and structured problem solving while enabling meaningful connections between academic content and experiential classroom learning.

PBL Session: Designing Educational Games for Young Learners

An interactive and insightful PBL session was conducted for Class VIII on 7 April 2026, guided by resource person Abhinav Singhal. Students were challenged to transform familiar board games such as Monopoly, Ludo and Snakes & Ladders into meaningful learning tools for Class III EVS topics. Working collaboratively, learners designed quizzes, flashcards and concept-based gameplay focusing on animals, birds, environment and layers of the atmosphere. Each group presented an original title and structured rules suitable for younger learners. The activity strengthened planning abilities, encouraged teamwork and provided opportunities to explore creative approaches for making foundational concepts engaging through play-based learning experiences.

A Joyful Celebration of Young Achievers

The Nursery and KG Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, with great enthusiasm. The event commenced with a graceful Ganesh Vandana performed by the KG students, setting a vibrant tone for the programme. The highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of young achievers for their commendable performances in various intra-class competitions held throughout the year. Exploring Number Patterns through UNO Card Challenge – Class VII

The school organised a PBL activity titled Even–Odd Challenge with UNO Cards for Class VII on 2 April 2026 under the guidance of resource person Abhinav Singhal. Students grouped UNO cards by number and sorted them into odd and even sets to strengthen number classification skills. They explored pairing for fair sharing and recognised simple divisibility patterns through hands-on participation. Learners also designed UNO-based math games for Class II, including Add It Up, Make 10 Memory, Double Trouble, Subtraction Showdown and Colour Pattern Builder. The activity supported prediction skills, logical thinking and understanding of number relationships through collaborative learning. 

Guiding the Journey Ahead: Parent Orientation for Board Classes

The school conducted a comprehensive orientation for parents of Classes X and XII on 14 March to outline the upcoming academic session and board examination framework. Key aspects such as exam schedules, preparation timelines, assessment patterns, and study strategies were discussed in detail. Parents were also familiarised with the expected rhythm of examinations and ways to support their wards effectively. The session aimed to foster collaboration between school and home, ensuring students approach their board exams with confidence and clarity.

A Day of Smiles, Talent and Teamwork

EXPRESSIONS 2026 was celebrated on 6 March 2026 with great enthusiasm. Invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesh, the Nursery programme began with a beautiful dance recital. This was followed by the colourful play ‘The Missing Rainbow’, presented through enactment along with action songs and dance. The play highlighted the value of teamwork. The segment concluded with a lively finale dance, filling the stage with excitement. The KG programme opened with a Show and Tell presentation, ‘A Year in KG’, where students confidently shared their KG experiences. A graceful dance rendition of Saraswati Vandana came next. The highlight of the segment was the play ‘The Rainbow Fish’, presented through acting, songs, and dance, conveying the value of sharing and the message, ‘I am the change that I wish to see’. The celebration ended with an energetic finale dance. The event was a joyful celebration of talent and teamwork, leaving parents and teachers proud of the young performers.  Click here for more pics
