The event began with the Stakeholders Round, where participants, dressed in traditional Indian attire, confidently presented arguments, debated amendments, and voted on key issues. The session later progressed to the AIPPM (All India Political Parties Meet), where delegates represented political parties and debated contemporary issues, including the recent West Bengal elections. The exciting crisis rounds tested participants’ spontaneity, analytical thinking, and leadership skills under pressure. The Intra-Class ‘Recite and Shine’ (Poem Recitation) Competition for Class II was held on Monday, 20 April 2026. After a competitive preliminary round, six talented orators from each section were selected to perform. The participants showcased impressive speaking skills through patriotic poems celebrating India’s national symbols, scenic beauty, and cultural diversity. It was heartening to witness the young speakers use vibrant expressions, voice modulation, and creative actions. On 6 March 2026, Tagore International School hosted PlayNomics – Win-Win, an interactive workshop conducted by Mr. Ganguly from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Through an international trade simulation, students represented different countries and negotiated resources, technology, and trade strategies. The workshop provided valuable insights into global economics, resource inequality, and cooperation while strengthening communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills through experiential learning.
Tagore International School recently organised an insightful awareness workshop on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for students of Classes IX–XII. Conducted by TIS faculty member Ms. Maitreyee Bhattacharya, the session aimed to equip students with legal awareness, a deeper understanding of personal boundaries, and strategies to navigate both digital and real-world safety. Through interactive discussions and real-life scenarios, students explored important topics such as consent, healthy relationships, cyberbullying, online grooming, digital responsibility, and the importance of reporting unsafe situations. The workshop also familiarised students with support systems such as Child Helpline 1098 and reinforced the significance of speaking up without fear. The session proved highly meaningful in promoting awareness, safety, empathy, and informed decision-making among adolescents.
Teachers from Nursery to Class V attended an engaging workshop on 19 May 2026, conducted by Kanav Agnihotri on his unique creation ‘Sharkaru Island.’ The session beautifully highlighted fictional characters working together to protect the environment through creative storytelling. Mr. Agnihotri shared valuable insights into graphic designing, use of software, panel creation, and page reading techniques. He also spoke passionately about his creative journey, inspiring teachers with his experiences and innovative ideas. The workshop proved to be interactive, enriching, and highly informative for all participants.

Conducted by Mental Health Consultant and Behaviour & Personality Strategist Sunint Kaur, the session focused on workplace etiquette, professional communication, emotional intelligence, and confidence-building. Through interactive discussions and practical insights, students learned the importance of professionalism, adaptability, workplace ethics, and effective communication as they prepare for internships across diverse professional fields.
The LEPTON (Learning Physics through Nature) Session was conducted on 15 May for students of Classes X and XI by Ms. Pragya Nopany, Anveshika Coordinator. Through engaging demonstrations and real-life applications, students explored the fascinating connection between physics and nature while enhancing their observational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills. The programme concluded with an exciting quiz competition, where students enthusiastically showcased their conceptual understanding. Anuraj Loyal of Class X- B emerged as the topper and earned direct entry to NAEST 2026, making the session a truly inspiring and enriching learning experience.
Rhymes and poetry unlock creativity, enrich vocabulary, and support the development of early language skills. Mini Melody, an Intra-Class Poetry Recitation Competition, was held for kindergarten students on 04 and 05 May 2026. The young participants stepped onto the stage with great enthusiasm and confidence, delighting the audience with their expressive recitations. Using voice modulation and actions the students beautifully brought their poems to life. The event was a delightful celebration of emerging talent and provided a wonderful platform for the kindergarteners to gain confidence in an enjoyable and engaging manner. The event was based on the exciting themes ‘Healthy Bites’ and ‘Rainbow Treats.’ Dressed in aprons and chef caps, students prepared colourful and nutritious dishes like Cucumber Boat, Cat Sandwich, Rocket Sandwich, Rainbow Fruit Skewers, Healthy Chaat, and Healthy Garden Bites.
