The KG Intra-Class freehand drawing competition was held on Tuesday, 03 February 2026, with the theme ‘Christmas’. The kindergarteners participated enthusiastically, creating vibrant Christmas scenes in their individual styles. They displayed a good sense of proportion and coloured neatly within the outlines. The morning of 30 January 2026 came to life as the Annual Production, Sanchayan 2025-26 unfolded in three spectacular shows, celebrating storytelling, values, and artistry at its finest. Class III charmed hearts with Beauty and the Beast, reminding us that true beauty lies within. Class IV performed Warrior of the Woods, which powerfully revisited the sacrifice of Amrita Devi Bishnoi, echoing timeless environmental courage. The students of Class V mesmerized the audience with The Glass Awakening: A Fanatsia Rewritten, a magical journey highlighting honesty, courage, and kindness. The performances blended imagination with purpose, leaving the audience inspired by stories that celebrated inner strength and responsibility. In response to rising pollution levels in Delhi, the Green Teens of Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar organised an anti-pollution awareness drive in February. The initiative aimed to sensitise students and the local community to the harmful effects of air pollution and the need for sustainable living. Students conducted an awareness march around the school neighbourhood, displaying impactful placards and slogans. The drive concluded with a collective pledge to adopt eco-friendly practices and work towards a cleaner, healthier Delhi.
The school commemorated the 77th Republic Day on 23 January 2026 through a range of thoughtfully planned activities across all grades. The celebration began with students being enriched through an informative address on the significance of Republic Day and the National Flag, after which they witnessed the unfurling of the Tricolour with pride and reverence. Class I students expressed patriotic feelings through the creation of Tricolour origami tulips, while Class II students conveyed national values through slogan writing inspired by India’s democratic ideals. Students of Classes VI–VIII showcased awareness and creativity through comic strips, posters, and quizzes. Such celebrations enabled students to develop civic awareness, creativity, teamwork, and a deep sense of respect for the nation.
On 22 January, Grade XI students participated in an engaging forensic science workshop titled ‘Find the Fake!’, conducted by Professor Stephen Ashworth, Professor of Chemical Physics and Science Communication at the University of East Anglia (UEA), United Kingdom. The workshop introduced students to the role of forensic chemists through hands-on experimentation and real-world applications. Students investigated unidentified white powders using techniques such as puddle chemistry and simplified titration, learning how scientific evidence is analysed in forensic investigations. The session emphasised experiential and collaborative learning. Working in teams, students made observations, recorded findings, analysed results, and drew logical conclusions. This inquiry-based approach enhanced their critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and scientific reasoning. Students responded with enthusiasm, appreciating the practical and engaging method of learning. The workshop successfully reinforced classroom concepts while highlighting the relevance of chemistry in everyday life and real-world problem-solving.
Our school actively participated in a road safety initiative supported by HERO MotoCorp titled ‘My Family. My Safety’, aligned with the national campaign ‘Come Home A HERO’ on 16 January 2026. Around 300 students of Classes VIII and IX attended a child-friendly road safety workshop film highlighting essential traffic rules and responsible road behaviour. This was followed by a drawing competition where students creatively expressed the importance of safe travel and family responsibility. The initiative effectively reinforced the message that road safety begins at home and that children can be powerful ambassadors of change.
On 13 January 2025, students of Class IX attended an enriching and inspiring session by Gp. Capt. Shubhanshu Shukla at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, organised by the National Book Trust (NBT). During the session, he shared fascinating insights into his journey as an astronaut and explained the rigorous training undertaken for space missions, including preparation for long-duration stays in microgravity. He also spoke about the physical and psychological challenges of living in space. The interaction concluded with students presenting him a book and receiving autographs. The session left students motivated to explore careers in science, technology, and space research.
Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, organised an insightful career guidance session on 14 January 2026 at Audi 1 for students of Grades IX and XI (Humanities and Commerce). The session, titled ‘Building a Future-Ready Student Profile: Academics, Skills & Exposure’, was conducted by Mr. Harsh Wadhwa, Senior Career Coach and Study Abroad Expert. Emphasising holistic development beyond academic scores, Mr. Wadhwa guided students on academic consistency, skill development, real-world exposure, and purposeful engagement. The interactive session encouraged self-reflection, early planning, and ownership of one’s academic journey, leaving students motivated and better equipped to make informed career choices.
A career guidance session on ‘Careers in Science’ was successfully conducted on 14 January 2026 for the students of Grade XI (Science stream). The session was led by Mr. Manoj Madhavan Kutty, Director – Admissions, SRM Group of Institutions, who offered valuable insights into diverse academic and career pathways in science, both in India and abroad. Moving beyond conventional IIT-focused approaches, he highlighted emerging disciplines, global opportunities, and the importance of strategic planning, time management, and authentic self-representation in Statements of Purpose. The interactive session left students motivated, informed, and confident about making purposeful career choices.
