A Day of Smiles, Talent and Teamwork

EXPRESSIONS 2026 was celebrated on 6 March 2026 with great enthusiasm. Invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesh, the Nursery programme began with a beautiful dance recital. This was followed by the colourful play ‘The Missing Rainbow’, presented through enactment along with action songs and dance. The play highlighted the value of teamwork. The segment concluded with a lively finale dance, filling the stage with excitement. The KG programme opened with a Show and Tell presentation, ‘A Year in KG’, where students confidently shared their KG experiences. A graceful dance rendition of Saraswati Vandana came next. The highlight of the segment was the play ‘The Rainbow Fish’, presented through acting, songs, and dance, conveying the value of sharing and the message, ‘I am the change that I wish to see’. The celebration ended with an energetic finale dance. The event was a joyful celebration of talent and teamwork, leaving parents and teachers proud of the young performers.  Click here for more pics

Celebrating Excellence: Junior Prize Distribution Ceremony

The Junior Prize Distribution Ceremony for Classes I to V was held with great enthusiasm on 26 February 2026 in the school auditorium. The event aimed to recognise and celebrate the hard work, talent, and achievements of our young learners in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. The programme began with a warm welcome address by our Junior Headmistress, Ms. Heena Sehgal. Prizes were awarded to students for excellence in academics, full attendance, good conduct, art, music, sports, and various competitions conducted throughout the year. The proud smiles on the faces of the students reflected the spirit of encouragement and motivation that the ceremony intended to promote. The school principal, Ms. Jyotika Jakhar, congratulated the achievers and motivated all students to continue striving for excellence with dedication and confidence. Tales of Courage and Change

With the sun shining brightly, symbolising the arrival of spring, 19 February 2026 marked the grand culmination of the Annual Production Sanchayan 2025–26. Students of classes I and II poured their hearts into memorable performances. Class I took the audience on a delightful jungle safari through Gajju in the Savannah, highlighting how embracing unique strengths helps overcome challenges. Class II presented Small Changes Bring Big Difference, set in the humorous Kingdom of Blame-a-Lot, where a young girl, Amelia, inspired responsibility and teamwork. The motivating message and vibrant performances by singers, dancers, speakers, and actors left the audience truly mesmerised. Click here for more pics

Young Picassos: Little Hands, Big Imaginations

The Nursery students participated in a freehand drawing competition held on 13 February 2026. The objective of the competition was to encourage creativity, imagination, and fine motor skills among young learners. With ‘nature’ as the theme, the students confidently expressed their ideas through their drawings. Each participant was applauded for their active involvement, making the event a joyful and enriching experience. The Digital Duel

The Intra-Class Computer Prowess Competition for Classes I to V was conducted in the month of February and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who showcased their creativity and digital skills through thoughtfully designed projects.   Class I students created ‘Colourful Superheroes’ using MS Paint, and Class II designed posters on ‘The Magical World of Books’ using OO04 KIDS Writer. Additionally, Class III developed animated stories in Scratch 3.0 based on ‘Time-Travel Adventures.’ Class IV projects highlighted ‘Say No to Bullying’ through impactful presentations, while Class V students created engaging games on MakeCode Arcade themed on ‘The Lost Treasure.’ The judges were amazed by the level of creativity, originality, and technical understanding displayed by the students. Breaking Barriers: Students at Delhi Queer Pride Parade

Under Breaking Barriers – A Human Rights Initiative, students from our school participated in the Delhi Queer Pride Parade on 8 February 2026 along the Barakhamba–Tolstoy Marg stretch. The experience was a powerful expression of solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community. Through preparatory sessions, students created handmade flags and posters, gaining deeper insights into acceptance, dignity, and allyship. Marching with pride and sensitivity, they emerged as young advocates for equality, reinforcing the school’s commitment to inclusion, empathy, and social responsibility. The event was also highlighted in ‘The Hindustan Times’.

Celebrating Excellence and Aspiration – Senior Prize Distribution Ceremony

The school hosted its Senior School Prize Distribution Ceremony, celebrating a year of academic excellence, co-curricular accomplishments, and meaningful social engagement. The Annual School Report highlighted key milestones and achievements across diverse domains. Students were honoured for their national and international successes, reflecting the school’s commitment to innovation and global citizenship. Chief Guest Shri Rajneesh Gupta, IPS, inspired students with his address on discipline, responsibility, and digital awareness. Cultural performances enriched the ceremony, which concluded with the presentation of special awards and house honours, leaving the gathering inspired by the Tagorean spirit of excellence. Planting Love, Nurturing Earth: Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0

The Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0 campaign by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education is a meaningful national initiative celebrating the bond between children and their mothers while promoting environmental responsibility. Our school proudly participated in the campaign, with 143 saplings planted by students alongside their mothers, symbolising love, gratitude, and care for both motherhood and Mother Earth. The initiative beautifully blended emotional connection with ecological action, creating lasting memories and fostering sustainability. The school was honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation for its active contribution to this noble cause.

Learning Law & Leadership: Students Visit Vasant Vihar Police Station

On 16 February 2026, eleven students of Class VIII, accompanied by the Sports teacher, visited the Vasant Vihar Police Station for an insightful educational experience. Students interacted with the Head Constable and the Inspector and were given a guided tour of key areas such as the Inspection Room, VB Room and Reporting Room. They learned about juvenile cases, court procedures, bail processes and how a complaint progresses into a case. The visit concluded with students presenting a Thank You Card to the officers in appreciation of their guidance and service.

Breaking Barriers: Skill Development & Livelihood Empowerment

Under Breaking Barriers – A Human Rights Initiative, the school organised a vocational skill development session in collaboration with SHIVR NGO, aimed at empowering marginalised communities through sustainable livelihoods. Led by the founders of SHIVR NGO, the session focused on crochet and handcrafted product development, blending creativity with market-ready skills. Participants explored making utility bags, pouches, accessories, and lifestyle products. The initiative highlighted self-reliance, dignity, and economic independence, leading to the launch of Project Tashan Toli. Weekly sessions at Naz Foundation and a joint exhibition will ensure long-term impact.
