Gurpurab 2024 was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm across the school, immersing students in the beautiful teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The event began with a student reciting the Mool Mantra, setting a serene tone for the Prabhat Pheri across the school campus. A documentary on Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life was shared, imparting his timeless message of ‘One God’ and ‘eternal Truth,’ encouraging students to remember the divine in all aspects of life. Students also learned about the significance of langar and Guru Prasad, which symbolizes equality and community service. Many students contributed homemade Prashad, which was shared among classmates and staff, fostering a sense of togetherness and respect. The celebration was a memorable experience, uniting the school community in gratitude and reverence for Guru Nanak’s teachings. Respect for every faith is woven into the very fabric of TISVV !
