Learning the English language takes one far beyond just grammar or writing practice, it also includes communication skills and holistic development. A simple iced tea-making activity by the students of Class X on 5 August 2024 was designed to infuse life skills through a trans-disciplinary approach.
Children created unique tea flavors using flowers, fruits, and spices, blending their recipes with care and serving them to their teachers. This activity required careful planning and teamwork, involving procurement, hospitality, marketing, and organizational skills.
This approach integrates various subjects with soft skills like social and interpersonal interaction and teamwork. By taking the classroom activities beyond academics, we empower all students, fostering confidence and highlighting diverse career opportunities.
