On 11 November 2024, as part of Japan Week, an inspiring Ikebana workshop was organized for parents. Led by Syama Balbir, India’s first Master of the Ohara School of Ikebana, the workshop began with an introduction to the art and philosophy of Ikebana, exploring its deep cultural roots in Japan. Parents then engaged in creating their own floral arrangements, embracing the principles of balance, harmony, and minimalism. This hands-on experience offered a chance to explore creativity while immersing oneself in the mindfulness and simplicity that defines Japanese floral art.
