On 23 December 2024, members of the SOCH Club (Society of Caretakers of Heritage) organised an engaging virtual tour of the Sanchi Stupa for Class V. The session illuminated the historical significance of the Kalinga War in King Ashoka’s conversion to Buddhism and showcased the intricate carvings depicting Buddhist tales and architectural styles. Students explored the stupa’s role as a repository of relics, enhancing their understanding of India’s rich heritage. A quiz on Ashoka’s reign and Buddhism added an interactive element, reinforcing their learning experience.
