Bhangra Queens, a dynamic dance group dedicated to the revival of Bhangra, enthralled the audience in the school auditorium on 29 April 2024, as part of World Dance Day celebrations. Performing a vibrant medley of Punjabi dances, the troupe of seven women mesmerized students from Classes IV, V, and VI, inspiring them with their spirited performance.
In addition to their captivating show, Bhangra Queens conducted a workshop for students, teaching them choreography to a popular Diljit Dosanjh song. The interactive session saw active participation, with some lucky students even chosen to perform on stage alongside the main artists.
Emphasizing the importance of education, Bhangra Queens encouraged students to pursue knowledge alongside their passions, fostering a holistic approach to growth. The event showcased the group’s dedication to empowering young talents and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Bhangra.
