Hosted by All India Chess Federation for the Blind (AICFB) and Delhi Chess Association for the Blind (DCAB) at the National Association for the Blind (NAB) from 11 to 13 April 2024, this event attracted a staggering 82 competitors, each vying for glory. Despite this daunting competition, Gaurav’s indomitable spirit shone brightly as he navigated through eight rounds of intense chess battles over three grueling days. Emerging triumphant in five matches within the Junior Category, Gaurav secured the third rank, a testament to his unwavering dedication and strategic brilliance.
