Recognised for her innovative contributions to Theatre Society Awaam and advocacy for acid attack survivors, Ms Chopra has used performing arts to drive impactful change. Through the annual event Ninaad, she has successfully raised awareness and funds for survivors, earning widespread acclaim.

Mr. Lokesh Pant, Physical Education Instructor, was awarded for his exceptional contribution to the field of physical education by the Action Committee. Ms. Usha Rani Awarded by Sanskrit Shikshak Sangh Delhi
We are delighted to announce that Ms. Usha Rani, our Sanskrit teacher, has been honored with an award from Sanskrit Shikshak Sangh, Delhi for her exceptional contribution to Sanskrit education. Sanskrit Shikshak Sangh, Delhi is a respected association that acknowledges and celebrates the accomplishments of Sanskrit teachers and students across India for their remarkable performance. It has been striving hard for promotion, advocacy and protection of Sanskrit and securing the interest of Sanskrit teachers and students since September, 2009. Excellence in Teaching Award and Honorary Doctorate for Ms Isha
We are delighted to announce that Ms Isha, our Class III teacher, has been selected for the prestigious Excellence in Teaching Award by the World School Summit in Bangkok 2024, from among 150,000 educators. Recognized for her innovative teaching methods, including experiential learning and storytelling, Ms Isha has made significant contributions in remote parts of Ladakh, such as Zanskar, Kargil, and Chakwali in Gurez, Kashmir as a volunteer teacher. Her methods, which include games, art, and music, have transformed learning into an engaging and inclusive experience, improving student engagement and performance. Ms Isha’s dedication began as a volunteer last year, and her techniques were widely embraced by local teachers there. She was honored on 20 July 2024, at the World School Summit in Bangkok and received an honorary Doctorate Degree in Education from Maryland State University, USA. The event featured prominent guests, including Dr. Kiran Bedi and Ambassador Dr. Deepak Vohra, and her achievements will be showcased in Journey Magazine’s Top 50 Educators Edition.

The Rotary Club of Delhi Heights convened the 1st Edition of the Nation Builder – Distinguished Teacher Awards on Sunday, 10th September 2023 to express its appreciation and gratitude to teachers of Interact and Partner Schools. They expressed their appreciation for the crucial role of teachers in shaping the character of the future generation in this post pandemic era. Mr. Vinod Ranjan of the Science Faculty has received a letter of appreciation from the Prime Minister for sharing his views on education on the Pariksha pe Charcha show. Teachers are the ones who inspire students to dream dreams and they are also the ones who show them the way to make their dreams come true, said the letter. Ranjan Sir (as the school knows him) quoted ‘jeevan ka har shan ek pariksha hai’ and reminded students that one should never fear examinations ; instead we need to see each test as a learning experience.

Foxclues India Prime Award
Ms. Maitreyee Bhattacharya (PGT Political Science) was selected for the prestigious Foxclues India Prime Awards as one of India Prime’s Top 100 Professors, Teachers, Authors and Researchers 2022. Out of a total of 7,500 nominations, a hundred were selected. She will receive a Gold Plated Trophy along with an E-Certificate.
Best Teachers of the Delhi Zone
The SOF (International Olympiad Foundation) recently recognized three of our teachers as the Best Teacher of the Delhi Zone for their subject during the session 2021-22. Ms Anuradha Arora was selected for the International Social Science Olympiad, Ms Niela Hariharan for the International General Knowledge Olympiad, and Ms Gauri Sen for the International Science Olympiad. IIT Delhi organised its 12th International Conference from 11 December 2020 to 13 December 2020. During this conference, teachers across the globe were felicitated for their inspiring work done during the pandemic to teach children using technology in the virtual classrooms. SAE India organised the tenth AWIM National Olympics in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra and Mahindra and Cummins India in Balewadi, Pune from 20 January to 22 January 2018 . A total of 75 teams participated in this annual event and Ms. Neet Swarnakar, PRT Science won the national award in the ‘Best Teacher’ skimmer category.

ThinkCIQ, an initiative by three prominent leaders of the education field, and The Times of India, organised a national level search for creative and innovative mentors. 896 applications were received from Principals, Teachers and Education Administrators across the nation.
After intensive rounds based on concepts such as personal growth, classroom management, education of the future, curriculum design and workshop planning, our Dean of Academics, Mrs. N. Saroj and Mrs. Gauri Sen ,PGT Science were chosen among the top 100 mentors.
TIS faculty bagged Teacher Excellence Awards
The Progressive Teacher Journal is a part of New Delhi-based S-Media Group that is dedicated to empowering the school teaching community in India. Every year it recognizes and awards teachers who have made an outstanding contribution in teaching which has positively impacted the learning of the students. The Progressive Teacher Conclave was organised on 27 August 2016 and four teachers from our school were felicitated in various categories.

TIS faculty awarded for innovation in teaching in April 2015
The Progressive Teacher Journal is a part of New Delhi-based S-Media Group that is dedicated to empowering the school teaching community in India. Every year it recognizes and awards teachers who have made an outstanding contribution in teaching which has impacted positively the learning of the students. The awards are given in various categories.
This year, eight teachers from our school were nominated and four of them were shortlisted for the final round. After a grilling jury round, three of them were declared winners at the national level.
