The school organised a commemorative stamp designing activity for Class VI as part of the Independence Day celebrations. Blending Art with Science, students explored India’s heritage and cultural identity through creative stamp designs. Applying their learning about Measurement of Length and Motion, they measured and marked assigned dimensions using rulers with precision. Students were also introduced to philately and learnt about stamp perforations, including the meaning of ‘Perf-14’. Using a 2 cm scale, they observed the perforation gauge and connected scientific concepts with postal practices, while celebrating India’s heritage and spirit of independence.
