Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, celebrated Independence Day with a vibrant blend of patriotism, learning and leadership. The school welcomed its esteemed Chief Guest, Lieutenant General M. K. S. Yadav, Former Director General Supply & Transport, whose distinguished military career spans over four decades. The celebrations began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, accompanied by the Principal and Student Council Presidents, followed by the National Anthem. The programme featured student speeches, musical and dance presentations, and the Investiture Ceremony, where the newly elected Senior Student Council and House Cabinet received their badges and took the oath of office. The School Topper was also felicitated with the Achala Nadgir Proficiency Award. The Primary School joined the celebrations with tricolour crafts, creative expressions, national-symbol activities, an Innovate for India exercise and an engaging quiz. Addressing the students, the Chief Guest emphasised discipline, character, courage to fail and rise again, and the responsibility to contribute meaningfully to society.
