Tagore International School Vasant Vihar welcomed a special guest Ms Donna Wright, Principal of Bandiana Primary School Australia, to Delhi on Friday 13 October.
Her visit was a meaningful exchange of ideas on the different dimensions of learning, teaching methods and the curriculum development process.
Our teachers and students at TIS were impressed by Ms Wright’s portrayal of self learning environments in Australian schools. She apprised our faculty of the different strategies of motivating children and developing questioning skills in them.
The focus on mental well being and including happiness and emotional intelligence in the curriculum was an important aspect of the enriching discussion with Ms Wright.
