On 31 July 2024, Class VII students delved into the science topic “Transportation in Animals” through an engaging PEC activity titled “Step Inside the Heart: A Journey Through the Circulatory System.” A large heart diagram was drawn on the floor, representing the pathways through which blood flows in the heart. Students walked through these pathways, simulating the journey of blood as it moves through different chambers and valves. This hands-on approach provided a vivid visualization, helping students understand the dynamics of the circulatory system and the heart’s role in pumping blood throughout the body. The activity fostered a deeper comprehension of cardiovascular functions and encouraged interactive learning. This innovative method effectively bridged theoretical knowledge with practical experience, making complex scientific concepts accessible and memorable for the students.
