From 8 to 10 November 2024, the Chinh International Kids Film Festival in Bhimtal, Uttarakhand, provided a vibrant platform for young participants to immerse themselves in film, art, and culture. Children from various age groups served as jurors, assessing an international lineup of films and experiencing the art of film critique firsthand. This unique opportunity allowed them to hone their analytical skills, understand diverse storytelling methods, and appreciate global perspectives in cinema. Beyond films, the festival included sightseeing tours of Bhimtal and Sattal, where children enjoyed Uttarakhand’s natural beauty, and an art competition, where they designed T-shirts for the 2025 festival edition. This multifaceted experience empowered their young voices, nurtured their creativity, and deepened their cultural awareness, making it an unforgettable learning journey.
