Let’s Parley (English Debate)–An Intra Class Competition for Classes IV (July 2023)

‘Can teachers be replaced with computers’ was the topic for a heated debate between the young learners of Class IV. On 27 July 2023 a debate competition called Let’s Parley was organized for them to share their thoughts. The competition was open to all, however the participation was optional. The criteria for judgment were content, diction and expression, delivery and time management. The aim was to hone the students’ competency and teach them to articulate their thoughts and opinions effectively. Excited discussion and an animated exchange of ideas marked the event and led to a lot of friendly wrangles on the issue !
