Joyful learning – Stethoscope Making Activity for Class VII Students

On 8 August 2024, the Science class became an exciting spot  as the students of Class VII engaged in an engaging and educational activity of building their own stethoscopes.  They used simple materials such as plastic tubes, balloons, and funnels to construct functional stethoscopes. Through this activity, they learned how doctors use stethoscopes to listen to the internal sounds of the body, like the heartbeat.

The students were thrilled to be able to test  their handmade stethoscopes on each other. Listening to their partner’s heartbeat made science come alive and also reinforced their understanding of the human body, triggering curiosity to learn more. Blending learning with fun,  it left the students eager for more such interactive experiences.
