Project Saksham of Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar celebrated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December 2024. The day is commemorated to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities across the social spectrum.
The event was graced by Dr. Sanjay Chaturvedi, the Deputy Director of Education (District South West A), Directorate of Education, GNCT of Delhi. The audience witnessed a soulful rendition by visually impaired students and the play ‘Ehsaas’ by Team Awaam, the theatre society of the school.
As a symbol of empowerment and opportunity, Dr Sanjay Chaturvedi, Chief Guest of the day, presented cycles to the meritorious students. Through his closing address, Dr. Chaturvedi inspired the students to continue to work towards inclusion.
