In our continuous pursuit of offering students enriching educational experiences, 15 students participated in a groundbreaking four day AR/VR workshop at the American Center, New Delhi. Organized by the U.S. Embassy in collaboration with STEAM Varsity, this program was designed to fuel creativity and technical skills in young minds. The workshop, inaugurated by Mr. C.J. Woods from the U.S. Embassy on 7 August 2024, provided hands-on learning in 3D modeling, rendering, and AR/VR programming. Mentored by experts from STEAM Varsity, students developed innovative projects, including a virtual training world for sewage workers, a metaverse construction site, and interactive sports simulations. The workshop concluded with a project showcase and a graduation ceremony, where students received certificates from Directors at the American Center, Ms. Chhaya and Mr. Vikas Sood. The event also featured an impromptu poem recital by our young poets, Ira and Nandini, which was much appreciated and added a touch of creativity to the ceremony.
