‘Children learn as they play, more importantly, in play children learn how to learn’ said O. Fred Donaldson. Expressions, the Nursery and KG Annual Day was held on 24 February 2024. Vibrant music, dance and drama set the stage ablaze as our little Tagoreans captivated everyone with their enchanting performances.
Invoking the blessings of Lord Shiva, the Nursery students began their presentation with a dance recital. Their play ‘Tale of the Jungle’ underlined the importance of helping others. There was humour to boot with the Akbar Birbal adaptation, ‘Chor ki Pehchan’. Adorable action songs and rhythmic dances had everyone in the audience mesmerized.
The kindergarteners commenced with a graceful and synchronized dance rendition of the song Achyutam Keshavam. ‘A Year in KG’ gave a glimpse into the fun filled activities done in the KG class. Their play Pinocchio brought laughter and music to the stage and impressed everyone with the children’s abilities to act, sing and dance. They concluded with a spectacular and foot tapping dance as the grand finale.
It was a magical day with happy faces all around as the presentations were met with thundering applause and much appreciation.
