Class VI Students Learn Mindfulness And Creativity With Zentangle

On 31 July 2024, during their Science class, students of Class VI explored the beauty of nature as part of theĀ Getting to Know PlantsĀ module. They engaged in creating Zentangle art using leaves and flowers to form intricate patterns. A meditative drawing method, Zentangle art involves making detailed designs with structured patterns. It has gained popularity for its ability to promote relaxation, mindfulness, and creativity.

Through this activity, students learned the importance of observing natural patterns and how to translate them into art. They discovered how mistakes can be embraced and adapted into their designs, fostering a growth mindset. This practice also aided in stress reduction by focusing their minds and providing a sense of accomplishment.
