In TIS, we believe in celebrating all festivals with equal joy and merriment. The chill of December was offset by the warmth, hope and glad tidings of Christmas, which we celebrated on Friday, 23rd December. At the entrance a huge Christmas tree decorated with lights and ornaments welcomed everyone to the school. The classroom windows were decorated with bells, as the school choir went around caroling ‘Jingle Bells’ filling the hearts of the students with excitement and anticipation of the festivities. Later in the day, the whole school assembled to imbibe the Christmas message of ‘Peace on Earth and Goodwill to all Men’, as the Christmas Choir sang a number of traditional carols. As the school enjoyed the melodies, students of the primary wing could be seen jumping with glee when Santa Claus suddenly appeared amongst them ! Last but not least, the school cafeteria served cupcakes, hot chocolate and fudge for everyone to indulge in.
