Mathematics students of Classes XI and XII had a career talk on 7 may 2024 focused on Data Science and Analytics, with Ms. Krimcy Behrani, a software engineer at Wipro Technologies as the speaker. Ms. Behrani, an expert in the field, provided insights into the expansive realm of data and its significance in today’s highly technological world. During the session, she showcased the power of Power BI visualization charts, illustrating how they can effectively display day-to-day activities using statistics derived from data analysis. Ms. Behrani emphasized the importance of mastering SQL, Java, and Python for excelling in data science, alongside a strong grasp of mathematical concepts. She highlighted the value of utilizing software tools such as SAS, Excel, and Power BI to streamline data analysis and presentation tasks. Additionally, she advised students to pursue certifications, particularly from Google and Microsoft, to enhance their credibility and expertise in the field.
