Build-a-Thon – An Intra Class Competition for Class V (October 2024)

On 18 October 2024, the students of Class V participated in the exciting ‘Build-a-Thon: Sustainable Model Designing’ competition. This engaging activity encouraged students to work in pairs to design eco-friendly models, focusing on crucial environmental concepts such as CO2 removal through clean energy, smart city designs, hydroponics, aquaculture, solar energy harvesting, and rainwater harvesting techniques. Using recycled materials, the young innovators crafted their models, which were then evaluated on creativity, teamwork, sustainability impact, and presentation skills. The competition not only fostered creativity but also deepened students’ understanding of real-world environmental issues and solutions, helping shape future change.
