Anger Management with Classes VI-VIII

Anger is a common response for all of us, even youngsters, but it is a misunderstood emotion which can lead to much negativity. However underlying emotions jumbled together often lead to anger . To help students understand the true nature of anger and the emotions that cause it, the Peer Mentoring Club of Tagore International Vasant Vihar conducted a session on Anger Management with students of Classes VI-VIII on 10 August, 2022 . They helped students identify the underlying emotions via an anger sandwich and also helped them acknowledge some anger warning signs i.e. cues given by our mind and body when we are about to get angry. Together, they then moved on to creating a calm sandwich – activities and exercises that one could use to calm and control oneself in a moment of anger.
