On 6 August 2022, a session was held by Ms Rupinder Kaur to educate the support staff of Tagore International School Vasant Vihar about the Vishakha Guidelines and the POCSO Act. The Vishaka guidelines are a set of guidelines that are intended to protect women at the workplace and instituted by the Supreme Court of India in the year 1997. Ms Rupinder Kaur is a Former Member of the Delhi Commission for Women,
Government of NCT( Delhi) and a part of various organisations and committees that work for the welfare of women. She helped the staff understand the nuances of these guidelines by pointing out the difference between acceptable and non-acceptable behaviour and how to seek help, if required. It was an extremely insightful learning experience for the support staff.
