The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 aims at protecting children from all kinds of sexual abuse. On 16 July 2022 Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, invited Mr Rishi Malhotra, an Advocate with the Supreme Court of India, to address the teachers and explain the salient features of this very important legislation. Mr Malhotra discussed the need for the act as well as the legalities associated with it. As a school, we endeavour to build a safe space for our students, and educating our teachers on appropriate actions to be taken is a part of this endeavour.
