To help reduce environmental degradation, the school Eco Club in collaboration with Namo e-Waste Management Ltd organised an awareness programme on 22 April for classes VI, VII and VIII on the importance of disposing e-waste responsibly. Mr. Karan gave an overview of the process with the help of two short films and a presentation followed by a question and answer session. This focused on collection, segregation and recycling to extract various metals that go into making of any electronic product. To help in collection, the company has already placed an e-waste bin in our school. Students, parents and teachers may place their e-waste items here for responsible disposal and recycling.
